JS Investments Limited

Mr. Rashid Mansur joined JS Investments Limited on April 3, 2010 as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining JSIL he was President and CEO of Escorts Investment Bank Limited and also served as the Chairman of the ‘Investment Banks Association of Pakistan’. He is a qualified Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers London with specialization in ‘International Banking Operations’, ‘Practice & Law of International Banking’ and ‘International Finance & Investment’.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan with over 26 years of Domestic and International Banking experience. He started his career with Habib Bank Limited in 1974 and served for 18 years on various management positions including 10 years in Turkey. In Pakistan, he has held various Board-level positions in both Private and Public Sector, such as President and CEO, ‘Fidelity Investment Bank Limited’, CEO ‘Fidelity Leasing Modaraba’, Director ‘Security General Insurance Company Limited’ and Chairman and CEO ‘Board of Investment and Trade Punjab’.

During his tenure as Chairman and CEO of ‘The Board of Investment and Trade’, Government of Punjab and as Secretary General of Turkey ‘Pakistan Business Council (Lahore Chapter)’, he is credited with hosting and organizing various investment conferences abroad and rendered valuable services for the promotion of economic relations between Turkey and Pakistan.

Besides English and Urdu, he speaks French and Turkish fluently.

Mr. Lalani joined JSIL as CFO and Company Secretary in January 2005. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and has 18 years of experience in the financial services sector. Prior to joining JSIL, Mr. Lalani has also served as CFO and Company Secretary of a regulated microfinance institution for three years. Earlier he worked as Chief Operating Officer for Jahangir Siddiqui Investment Bank Limited and as Vice President - Finance & Legal with JSCL.

Mr. Lalani has also passed the Board Development Certificate Program conducted by Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance. He is serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Al – Abbas Sugar Mills Limited.

Mr. Mahmood joined JSIL in June 2003 as assistant manager marketing, bringing in experience of 14 years in the field of marketing. He has worked in Packages group, Honda Atlas cars Ltd, Saigols Group and Nawa-e-waqt group. He has recently been appointed Head of Administration in JSIL.

Mr. Assad Khan joined JSIL in January 2007 as part of the Business Planning and Development team leading Product Development activities. Since July 2008 he has been entrusted with the responsibility of all aspects of JSIL's international business endeavors as Head of Products and International Business Development. Prior to joining JSIL, he has four years of experience with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in various capacities including authorization, supervision, enforcement, research and policy setting for Non-Banking Financial sector - driving key policy initiatives including REITs and Private Equity.

Prior to the SECP, he worked at A.F.Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants Pakistan (member of PwC International) for five years in Business Assurance and Advisory, specializing in audit and management consultancy. He is a CA Finalist from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

Mr. Zeeshan Ali joined JS Investments as Head of Information Technology in May 2009. Mr. Ali holds a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Houston,U.S.A. Prior to joining JS Investments, Mr. Ali worked at Atlas Asset Management as the Head of Information Technology for two years. His IT exposure includes his extensive experience spanning 9 years in IT planning and implementing projects and procedures from the conceptual stage to live systems.

His portfolio also includes his heading the I.T. department of College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he was responsible for implementing mega I.T. projects in collaboration with various Government organizations in Pakistan, and managing multi-million dollar I.T. projects as Regional Support Manager while resident in the U.S.A.

Mr. Rizwan Javed has been managing the Investment Advisory Department of JSIL since July 2009. In his capacity as Head of Investment Advisory, he has been entrusted with the responsibility for managing both Institutional and Channel Relationships. Prior to this he was associated with the Business Planning & Development team of JS Investments since October 2007.

With a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Mr. Javed started his career with Standard Chartered Bank and was assosciated with them for almost 7 years. His last assignment was in the capacity of Manager Investments as part of SCB's Wealth Management team.

Malik Zafar Javaid joined JSIL in January 2006 as Regional Head of Operations to look after the operations of Northern region. Recently, he has been promoted to the position of Head of Operations in January 2008. He is responsible for smooth operations of Units Management system and settlements of the transactions carried out for investments on behalf of the open-end mutual funds being managed by our company.

Prior to joining JSIL, Mr. Zafar Javaid has 13 years' extensive experience of working with Lahore Stock Exchange. He was managing Company Affairs Department of the Exchange. As a front end regulator, he was involved in granting approvals of listings of the securities, monitoring compliance and enforcement of Corporate Laws on the listed securities. Initially at LSE, he was also involved in preparing and evaluating the Trading Rules and Design Review Documents for the development of first automated trading system of Pakistan.

Malik Zafar Javaid holds a masters degree in Public Administration with major in Finance from University of the Punjab.

Mr. Ubaidullah S. Ansari has joined JS Investments Limited in July 2010 as Head of Human Resources. Mr. Ansari has brought with him over 13 years of diversified experience in the field of HR. Prior to joining JSIL, he has worked with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in various capacities including, Head of HR & Training; Director Internal & External Communications.

With a Masters Degree in Human Resources, Mr. Ansari started his career with New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. And than joined Ora-Tech Systems before joining SECP.
